Rachael E. Sauer was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in the Mountain West. She earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in English and Spanish from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
After college, Ms. Sauer attended Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana where she received her Juris Doctorate. While at Tulane, she served as a Managing Editor for the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Her other accolades include the receipt of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Entertainment Law.
During law school, Rachael participated in the Tulane Entertainment and Art Law Society (TEALS) as its Secretary/Treasurer. Her involvement with TEALS led her to perform pro bono work with the Entertainment Law Legal Assistance project in New Orleans, providing legal services to artists and entertainers who cannot afford to hire an attorney.
Before joining Bohm Law Group, Rachel Sauer worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Janet C. Hoeffel, where she condensed and compiled case law concerning police stop-and-frisk practices. She also participated in the Criminal Litigation track of Tulane Law School’s “boot camp” where she met Lawrance Bohm.
Rachel Sauer lives in Los Angeles and works out of the Woodland Hills office. She sat for the July 2015 California Bar Exam.
