Tyler James Minick has been at the Bohm Law Group since the Summer of 2015, when he interned for us as a Summer Clerk. He was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in the very small but friendly town of Lawtell, Louisiana. There, he developed a passion for studying law.
Tyler attended Tulane University for undergrad, where he graduated in 2013 with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. In addition to his studies as an undergrad, Tyler became a member of the Rho Iota chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and maintained prominent roles in Tulane University’s Housing and Development Life.
Afterwards, Tyler decided to stay at home and attend Tulane University for law school. There, Tyler became a member of Tulane’s Moot Court and Black Law Students Association, while also serving as a Kaplan Representative. In addition, Tyler was a Student Attorney in Tulane’s Domestic Violence Clinic. He graduated in 2016 with a Certificate of Specialization in Sports Law. In his free time, Tyler can often be found enjoying a nice movie at home, watching HGTV, or playing Xbox. He’s an avid sports fan, and can often be found watching any basketball or football game on television. His favorite foods include most southern cuisines, and also enjoys baking in his spare time.
