About Mr. Bohm

Mr. Bohm began practicing employment law after graduating cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 2000. In 2005, he founded the Bohm Law Group, and has since represented workers exclusively.

Since starting his own law firm, Mr. Bohm has assembled a team of highly skilled, hard working lawyers, each with their own unique talents and practice areas of specialty.

While most employees simply want to offer their best effort at work —which in some cases means tolerating bad employer behavior — there are times when a worker must take a stand and hold a company accountable. When this day comes, a worker needs a good lawyer in his or her corner.

Rest assured, employers and companies know the value of a good lawyer.

What Type of Compensation Can A Worker Expect?

While every case differs depending on specific facts, there are certain types of compensation a worker may be entitled to in an employment lawsuit. For instance, an employee who wins a judgment against an employer could be entitled to back pay as well as compensation for pain and suffering (depression, anxiety, or headaches).

In the case of employees who have been wrongfully terminated, lost wages might be awarded. This means if an employee was making $65,000 at the time the termination occurred, he or she could be awarded that amount for each year he or she is unable to find work.

In rare cases, punitive damages, designed to punish the employer and prevent the behavior from ever taking place in the future, might be awarded.

Should You Contact A Lawyer?

Whether you live in Elk Grove, or just occasionally visit town to tip a glass of pinot noir at the Old Sugar Mill, Lawrance Bohm is the attorney to call if you’re dealing with an employment issue in the Bay Area.

Companies and employers are more likely to take a case seriously if the employee has a good lawyer in their corner, particularly if the lawyer has a proven track record of winning big verdicts (as the Bohm Law Group does).
